Spirit Posted April 17, 2009 Share Posted April 17, 2009 Every time i turn on my computer it pops up that netdetect.exe is missing and I am asked to verify if it exists, but it doesn't exist. Could someone tell me how I can fix the problem???? I already tried with CCleaner but it still pops up!!! plese help me!!! thank you for your attention.... Or there's the possibility that it's a component of Norton Internet Security 2005 which isn't used anymore. It was made defunct by an update, but the task it was connected to may still be running. comper6 Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 Same as what Keith and Dennis said, but i'm pretty sure its a backdoor trojan that is imitating NTDETECT.COM.
